Problem & solution
The problem (your words)
A pay equity software that allows us to load our employee data in and identify employees that are paid unfairly solely on the basis of gender. This is probably going to be a regression analysis using employee and job data. (What specific data points do you want to analyze for pay equity?) pay, gender, jobs, equal work, equal value, tenure, education, etc...
The solution
A read-first analytics tool for HR that ingests an employee dataset (pay, gender, job/grade, tenure, education, and other legitimate pay factors), runs a regression-based pay equity analysis to flag where pay differs by gender after controlling for legitimate factors, and outputs reports, charts, and suggested adjustment ranges for human review. The core workflow: import a clean data file → validate and map fields → run the analysis → review flagged employees and group-level gaps → export a report and recommended adjustments → HR decides and acts in the HRIS. Out of scope for v1: writing adjustments back to the HRIS automatically, real-time HRIS sync, multi-protected-class intersectional modeling, and any automated decision-making — every recommendation is advisory and a human owns the final call.
